Keith
Heckman was often being asked to stop by after work and help other
mechanics with a wiring or electrical problem so he started Keith’s Auto Electric in 1978.
Many
mechanics just don’t have the training to diagnose electrical problems
properly. You cannot see electricity, but every function of today’s
automobile depends on it to operate. Not only the starting, charging
and lighting, but the electronic ignition, air conditioning,
automatic transmission, and all the modern conveniences that we have come
to appreciate as standard equipment, depend on the electrical system. As electrical systems evolved and computers took over more functions of the vehicle, Keith changed the name to Keith’s Automotive. He continued to specialize in all electrical systems and added general maintenance services as well. Services include everything from oil changes and air conditioning service to complicated computer controlled diagnostics and repairs. The shop also offers complete services on classic automobiles, including rewiring, restorations, digital instrumentation, electronic ignition and computer controlled conversions. Keith
and his son Eric continually attend classes and stay current on the latest
technology needed to properly diagnose and repair today’s sophisticated
automobiles. They have the latest test equipment and computer
information systems available. This assures the consumer is guaranteed quality
repairs without the “trial and error” methods used by many shops that
just don’t have the training to do it right. | ||
